This is our second time adopting from KC Pet Project at Zona Rosa location and they are always so helpful. they are patient and take the time to help us with anything we need from our questions to our meet and greet with our older dog. They are there for support and also check in with us to see how things are doing. They work so hard and it really shows. Thank you so much. you are so appreciated!

I have contributed to this organization numerous times in the last 7 years as we are animal lovers, especially cats. Recently we started caring for a cat that the owner abandoned when they moved. Last week we decided to seriously try to place the kitten in a forever home. We got her shots, checked for all the viruses, treated for ear mites, bathed made arrangements for a future neutering. I attempted to place an ad here to find a home and was told that they couldn't help me because I didn't live in Kansas City, I lived in Liberty. This makes me wonder how serious they are about helping the animals. They never asked where I lived when I was making donations. The last donation I made is definitely the LAST donation I'll ever make.

Clean place great staff/ volunteers and of course if I could I would take all the adorable dogs home. Breaks my heart to see so many bully type breeds there. They really do make amazing pets.

Adopted two kittens last Sunday! Kc pet project made the adoption process easy while also showing considerable care that their animals end up at good homes! My one little kitten had an upset stomach but Kim at their care center helped make sure I had the tools, medication, and correct diet. Now he’s doing great :) will always recommend adopting but especially through KcPp.

Yes they do but only at their main shelter by the zoo during regular business hours.
Also when arranging to meet a possible new companion they have family rooms where you can make introductions, meet n greet. Bring your family, pets included to see if you all get along.
Very rarely, they have all types of animals that get surrendered to the facility. However it just depends on when you get there as to what they actually have for adoption.
No. Sorry we dont. But KC PET Project dose.
Not the Zona Rosa location. The one off 7077 Elmwood does.
It changes depending on certain specials being offered at the time! You can always give them a call as well
The Staff will be able to give that information. It's not published in the website.
Yeah
Call KC Pet Project
In the Zona Rosa location there are no ferrets. But they do have a location near the stadiums where I have seen chickens and goats and more. KC Pet Project will help to find a good home to any animal. But they don't have every animal at every location.
Yes, Christie was correct. Big dogs, little dogs and everything in between. They all need a good home and lots of love. Great question Joyce.
They do nail trimming for pets I'd assume they do but I'd call and double check b4 you go
I think your best bet would be to go in without her and pick a few pups that you like in particular. You could then request to take the pups on a quick walk outside one by one. That way she wouldn't have to deal with the noise! I know it gets loud in there!
I adopted a pitbull so I dont know but if u keep checking I imagine so
As long as you don't mind that there is a fee for dropping off your pet you could take it to KC Pet Project. You have to call them in advance so they know you're coming.
I would go to their website, go to the contact page, and email/call them! Im guessing they probably would not want the cat in question at the Zona Rosa location, but rather the Main Location instead.
Please come into one of the shelter locations and meet some pooches!
I think they foster pets also, you would need to call to verify.
