I love this place, the only reason I am giving it a 2 is because on my last visit I chose 2 Hoyas and both were infested. 1 with spider mites and another with mealy bugs.

Suburban Lawn and Garden on Roe off 103rd Street, Overland Park, KS, has about 2 in thick round stones about 14 inches in diameter that look like a slice from a tree trunk but are concrete and very durable. They are located on the backside where the statuary and bags of soil, manure with compost, mulch, and more. Just ask a staff member wearing a red top and they can show you them. 4-22-2021. Mgb.

Suburban Lawn & Garden requires all indoor staff, (i.e. loading staff, cashiers, greeters, sales people) and indoor sales staff members at our three locations to wear face-coverings while they are helping customers. Our staff that works outdoors or tending to the plants/merchandise in the greenhouses are highly encouraged, but not required, to wear face coverings due to the reduced risk of transmission, but will wear them if they are in contact with customers, and 6' of social distance cannot be maintained. Our services departments work exclusively outdoors and are not required to wear any face coverings as they remain a reasonable distance away from other staff/guests. Guests also are required to wear face coverings indoors and to respectfully stay the CDC recommended 6 feet away from any employee that is assisting guests or working around the greenhouse/outdoors. Mask are provided to staff and employees upon request.

Yes. We accept many types of yard debris at our Yardwaste Recycling Center. (Located at 201 W 139th st.). Unfortunately, we cannot allow leaves to be dumped at any other location.
