Unlike other Walmarts I've been to, this Neighborhood Market is staffed with friendly employees who want to be helpful. Unfortunately, management only schedules 2 people at the front of the store - one to help with 8 self checkout stations and 1 normal checkout lane. When I was in there the other day, the cashier told me that they are planning to get rid of that too, and just have the self checkouts. As someone who typically needs mobility aids and some assistance to get through a shopping trip, self checkout is not always a viable option. Yes, they will have someone there manning the station to help people as needed, but if they staff it no better than they currently do I'll have to sit and wait for help or wait until I can go with one of my kids. I truly hope that the management changes their mind. Even leaving things they way they are, they should have at least one more person up there.

1- A lot of the carts need tuned up. Many don't roll smoothly or straight. 2- At least one register needs to open that has a cashier. There were none today. I notice it is difficult and frustrating for older and disabled people to navigate this. 3 - Associates will help if you ask, but no one greets the customers when they are encountered. 4 - Prices are reasonable. 5 - Most items are usually in stock.

Not sure about this Walmart because it is pretty small, but the other one in Blue Springs carries both items.
