They say “sometimes things never change” and thank God the Prairie Schooner hadn’t! Still great hamburgers and service. My parents bother enjoyed coming to the Prairie Schooner for their food and cold beverages .. family tradition I guess. It is a 21 and iver facility so if you have youngins you might want to head to Shari’s until they turn 21. This was son Louie’s first trip to a Tavern and first trip to the Prairie Schooner…. Hard to believe but he is almost 23. He finished the Schooner Burger but couldn’t finish the fries.

I really love this place, but for the first time out of a 1000 the waitress was very very rude to me about my service animal being in my lap. He is a seizure alert dog and is trained to lay still in my lap under the table. Most of the time no one ever knows he's there. But she wanted to be rude and talk down to me and tell me he had to lay on the floor. He does me no good on the floor. I chose to pick my battles and not argue. But I am very disappointed that she chose to be like that. Stating that it's the "law" ! Obviously she doesn't have a clue what the " law" says. And If I were to file a complaint, she would soon find out how expensive her mistake could be.

I only give 3 because there wasn't realy a huge selection of men's shoes that were worth bragging about, but otherwise its not a bad store and the prices seemed reasonable enough.
