Train/bus station has weird operating hours which are not posted. It's hit or miss when the interior is open. Interior and restrooms should be cleaner by Frederick standards. The station attendant is extremely helpful and nice. Be careful crossing East St. at the two traffic lights with crosswalks. A lot of people, including transit buses, don't stop on red. Wait until all four lanes of traffic stops before crossing. Pay parking lot needs repainting and better park and pay instructions. More people would use the train and buses if this place was more user friendly by Frederick standards.

Fantastic charming station with an actual person working in the indoor waiting area. Clean restrooms. Vending machines. Snacks. Right in historic downtown Frederick.
