Little on pricey side but I am one who always wears my hair up as a male with a little wave in it. This is first time I’ve been confident keeping my hair down and feeling it looks good and even and just looks really good. Also tried Irish coffee after at there bar first time ever and was pleased. Great conversation and they make you feel wanted and not rushed to just get to next person.

I’ve taken my 14 year old son here twice. The first time we had a great experience with Priscilla. She was super sweet, took her time, was very professional, and gave my son a great haircut! We originally scheduled her again but had to change last minute due to something unexpected. I made the mistake of just picking another stylist bc Priscilla was booked up for another week. It was definitely my mistake to do that. The stylist my son had today wasn’t rude but seemed a little standoffish at first meet and literally took LESS THAN 10 MINUTES on my son’s longer hair. This could also just be my son’s side and not great communication but he cut my son’s hair WAY shorter than he wanted and the blending is uneven. At first glance, I thought it was fine until we got to the car and he’s still covered in hair and stuck all over his face… basically what you get at Great Clips. I am fine paying more for any service as long as we get the service that is being advertised. Maybe Priscilla set the bar way higher and that was just what we expected from the whole staff. As a business, I wish Scotch and Scissors made sure that their stylists’ work and demeanor was consistent as a whole.

Update: I wanted to love this place, but after giving them three tries I realized that it’s basically a Supercuts with a really nice ambiance and a bar. For some, that works well, but for $90/haircut & bear trim, the quality of the haircuts leave much to be desired and don’t bother coming here if you have a beard. Nothing will be done to it, unless you really like many hot towels on your face and that’s about it. If you have hair/beard that are somewhat difficult the stylists basically avoid styling it. The plus side is that the cocktails and bar are fantastic.

Just had my first haircut at Scissors and Scotch and it was great! Very nice and professional staff that was very focused on my experience. Low pressure and the stylist really took her time to not only understand the cut I like, but to also ensure it was done correctly. And spending time at the bar was really a great way to top the visit!
