Went in for a first time visit, they don't allow a person to come in with you. It's been proven that emotional support from family can help patients get better. They waited until the patient was having a nervous breakdown to let me in. Aren't you a health care facility? you should prevent these situations from happening instead of waiting until something happens to do something about it. Secondly, patient was in a lot of pain so they sent some medicine to the pharmacy. Called the next day because no prescription was sent , they said "Doctor's don't answer prescription messages on the weekend" it was a Saturday, and isn't the speciality PAIN management? now we have to wait, in pain. The lady answering the phone said " if it really is that bad take him to the emergency room" very insensitive and we just paid you for services and we're supposed to go pay more because they couldn't do the job. Will not be recommending this place to anyone.

Needless to say Baptist health successfully gave me the WORST experience an injured debilitated person could ask for , I have an old basketball ACL meniscus injury that’s developed arthritis and I even got a physicians note that falls within the means of baptist health’s sports injury practice . But because I mentioned a car accident reaggravating the injury ( I clarified I have NO legal means to pursue involving the car accident , so they have no reason to reject me ) , the front desk of the orthopedics department along with The small group of doctors who operate on hundreds monthly with the same injury as me , REJECTED my case , nothing has EVER made me feel more like a second class citizen who privileged doctors couldn’t even meet with an in person consultation . I guess my basketball injury is meaningless in the face of a couple busy docs who deal with pro athletes . Don’t advertise that you help all sports injuries , you only help those injured who you know might not take up a lot of your time ! So now I sit with degenerative arthritis a torn acl and a torn meniscus and the best doctors in my city cannot see me for any GOOD reason . Absolutely detestable.

I came to bring my son here for an apt. After several attempts at my insurance the front girl tells me my insurance doesn’t cover my son. I said well until I scan sort this out I will pay for the visit and then bill the insurance. She says that is illegal that I can’t pay for an office visit having insurance. If Baptist can’t have competent staff on the front end what is there to say about the rest of the employees.

After waiting over a week to see a "Shoulder" specialist. The day finally came. An 8am appointment had been made and we were asked to arrive 15 minutes early. We were not called in until after 8:45am because the clinician had not yet arrived. After Briefly being evaluated by a nurse practitioner it was told to me that they had scheduled me with a neck specialist and there was nothing that clinician could do for me at that time. I came to my attention that for which ever reason scheduling had rerouted me to a neck specialist without informing me or even consulting with me. I was dismissed without an apology and a referal to someone else at 9:45 for a later date. 2 hours of wasted time! I called to speak to a supervisor for their department and was greeted with lack of compassion, disrespect and a huge lack of professionalism. I then requested to speak to another supervisor which followed suit in the same manner. Needless to say we will not be seeking medical attention from Baptist or their affiliated clinical sites if avoidable. When it to comes to Healthcare and wellbeing every patient or potential patient deserves to be treated with compassion and respect. As a business; professionalism and respect towards customers should be a priority. This was not the case here. I highly recommend seeking treatment or help with another organization.
