Most of the workers are top-notch and seem to care about us (veterans). However, after observing a radiology report that said "normal... for a premenopausal female.", I highly doubt the integrity of its doctors since I am 68 years old and went into menopause when I was 44. If doctors can't be bothered with checking the file of the case they are observing before giving their prognosis, they need to change careers.

Have always got good care. It's the phone system you have a problem with. Can't ever talk to your primary nurse. Just a nurse on duty elsewhere. They say they'll get back with you in 24 hours. Its days and weeks before that happens. Weeks several times. If I needed something the next day, I would of called them. Why can't we talk to our primary nurse or doctor, that formulary with my health.

Here is the number for cardiology at the KCVA 816-861-4700 Ext. 52082
If you are using the VA for your medical needs, they will call you when they have an appointment for you to receive the injection. You will be able to accept the appointment or ask for a different day.
You don't need a card to shop at KC VA
All kinds depending on the need and availability. Old standard push walkers, knee walker scooter, to the seated brake rollar walkers.
It depends on your primary care doctor. I take care of a Korean War Veteran. The VA is helping make his life more comfortable. I suggest you talk to one of your doctors or the VA Social Worker.
I don't know the exact address, but it is in down town Kansas City...
Please see patient registration or call at 816-861-4700, and ask for patient registration..
