DO NOT MOVE HERE, do not try try to move here! I was going to move in there, but the lack of communication is TRASH. I tried calling for nearly 3 days I left multiple voice-mails and were never reached back out to. The line always busy I called multiple times in 3 days at various times no answer so I decided to go up there they lady was getting ready to leave but answered my questions anyway. I applied online & it took 13 days for someone to call me back about the status of my application. In them 13 days I reached out to the property manager North place terrace about the horrible communication at Douglass Place a few days later I received a call that I was denied due to low credit score! Funny part is MY CREDIT WAS NEVER PULLED ( I emailed proof) I payed Douglass place for a job (background check & credit report) that was never done I was denied out of spite because of my multiple complaints !!!!!

We were going to move in there, but the lack of communication killed it. We were told to apply online and the website was super buggy and unsecured. We tried calling for nearly 3 days before we gave up. We left multiple voice-mails and were never reached back out to. We called nearly 20 times in 3 days at various timea(open, shortly after, and before close) and nothing. Highly unprofessional!

Douglas place was very good to me. They make sure to take care of their tenants and to provide a friendly atmosphere. I never had any problems and if there ever was a issue they made sure to take care of it immediately. Dora is great person and she always responds to my emails and picks up my calls. I never felt like I was ever being ignored or not cared about. I would recommend Douglas Place to anyone looking for a place to live anytime. It was always quiet and there is plenty of kids for your children to play with.

I've lived here for almost a year and have had nothing short of a pleasant experience. I seek apartment living that is safe enough for kids to play outside as well as quiet at night. My apartment unit was newly renovated and is a good size for a two bedroom one bathroom. The staff makes living here one of the best experiences I've encountered. They quickly answer my questions or concerns and respond promptly to anything that requires attention. I honestly couldn't praise them enough! Living here has definitely made my transition to the Midwest from the East Coast that much better! The only reason that they didn't get a 5 star rating is because the buildings could use some updating. Either through remodeling or a fresh coat of paint. Other than that I don't have any complaints about the complex.
