After 20 years with this practice, we made the decision to leave. Difficulty scheduling appointments, rudeness by the staff, and a revolving door of vets made me very wary and mistrustful of the practice.

Dr Rubin and her staff are very caring and kind. With her help we were able to keep our beautiful cat Tessie alive for 4 years after she was diagnosed with kidney disease. Tessie was 21 when we finally had to put her to sleep. Afterward, they sent us a beautiful vase of flowers with sympathy card. So unexpected and appreciated. I recommend Dr. Rubin and staff to everyone who has a pet

I took my dog in for a minor skin tag removal. She came out bleeding from her sutures (expected) and from her back and paw (not expected). I sent the animal hospital an email with photos and a request to understand what happened roughly one hour after picking her up. I was not replied to until 11 am the next day (they open at 8:30). I was told via voicemail that sometimes they get a bleeder and they’re sorry they didn’t realize. They also said it was “parking lot nail” and while they did clip her nails, she must have broken her nail in the parking lot on the way to the car, but she was so doped up that she was falling over. It was incredibly flippant. I took her back only to get her sutures removed. I was kept waiting in the waiting room for 30 minutes and told they were waiting on the vet, but two customers who came after me were taken in. When I told the vet tech I had another appointment in 45 minutes and I had been waiting for 30 minutes in the lobby she threw her hands in the air and stormed in a back room. She came back out moments later and grabbed my dogs harness, I stood up and said I’ll go with her. She said I couldn’t. I said that I wasn’t comfortable letting her go alone. The tech left again. Moments later another tech came out and said she would move her sutures in the lobby! I held my dogs head while the receptionist held her legs. They cut her sutures out in the lobby in front of other customers because I wouldn’t let them take my dog out of my sight after she came out of minor surgery bleeding in three places. The receptionist was the only person I interacted with in this entire building who was empathetic and kind. I would stay far away from this place.

Dr. Rubin has been a huge part of my life for well over 10 years now. I feel it is very important to have a relationship with the Doctor that takes care of your furbabies. She has been with me through the hard times, and the good times. In …
