I have two years clean and sober! This place saved my life! The staff are wonderful, I was safe I was cared for and I always tell any young woman in need this could be the place for them! They need to have an open mind. I have friendships today with other girls I met with in the program and there is a handful of us who have gotten our life together, it was this place that brought us together to stick together !! Please if you need a safe place to get off the street and get clean and start working your program The Teen Project is for you!

Horrible staff, rude and unprofessional. My niece is there and she gets treated horribly. She is their voluntarily! She is getting verbally abused by staff, she gets denied every request even approval on essentials. Daily things she needs. Staff constantly make fun of her, talk down to her. This place receives donations from people that they NEVER give to these poor girls. Instead they donate it to goodwill. The last donation was from Danny Trejo and they NEVER got it. They donated the entire thing. The rooms they stay in dont all look like the ones in the pictures.Just the front desk alone and the attitude. Please, I ask if you have a loved one that needs help. Do not send them here.

Being a addict of 15 yrs, and mother of 3, getting sober/clean never crossed my mind. I didnt feel i needed help, deep down i knew i was a addict, but did not want to stop using. On Nov 2018, i got a DCFS case when i gave birth to my 4th child. Child services got involved and removed my 4 kids from my custody, i wasnt allowed to go home or be around my kids. The only way i can go home, to my kids and husband was if i reached out for help, to treat my substance abuse. Outpatient or inpatient treatment, court ordered and through DCFS. REHAB, was a scary thought, but id do anything to get my family back. So i started looking around for inpatient treatment and obviously Tarzana treatment center is the most popular place is the SFV, so i called them first, but for reasons they didnt accept me. Then this other place " the teen project" who range of ages 18-28 yrs of age, called me and note im 31 yrs old, Arpi the one who does intakes, is the most amazing helpful caring person, their were nights after work hours that i would be texting her all these questions and she would always reply and be polite and answer all questions. I was admitted on a friday morning, greeted by Bridgette, who makes u feel welcomed from the moment u enter the building. As im filling out my paper work, clients were stepping out through the lobby and as they pass by, they all greeted me so kindly. Feeling so welcomed once again. AK was the tech who helped me, but Dani, Edna, Robyn, Nicky, Sandra, Jen , Heidi, Jessica, and Sharell are amazing women, with lots of patience 😊 . My Case Manager Chala and my Therapist Audrey, words cant discribe EVERYTHING these women did for me. Im grateful for Chala and her experience w DCFS cases, Audrey and our Family therapy sessions. Groups are amazing, we may get loud and out of control at times lol but now that ive completed by program i understand everything our Facilitators were teaching us. Im more then Grateful for the teen project also known as freehab, i highly recommend inpatient for anyone who needs help, specially this place. Thank you too, Darlene, April, Sonia, Vanessa, Cooki, Penni, Mark, Joanne, Summer, Michaela, Tiana, Cynthia, Jordana, Kareema, Charity, and the Clients. This is a real place and real people, who give u all their help and support and LOVE, to guide you through your Recovry. I will never forget you guys, you guys have made the biggest and greatest impact in my LIFE. My name is Maribel and im a "Addict" ( Jen thx u for those Gratitude 🙏 mornings) I LOVE 💋😚 YOU GUYS ALL.
