Honest and compassionate; though another surgeon had recommended a horrendous surgery (requiring me to be put under for hours and thus increasing the death rate in addition to planning on installing parts, that were "remove able" and ended up being recalled less than a year later- and according to DR. S were rarely remove able) Dr Sehati recommended that I hold off on the surgery as long as possible since the first spinal fusion is only the first in what will inevitably lead to more surgeries down the line and the sooner the process is started the more surgeries I would undergo in my lifetime. In addition his attempt would be much less invasive. From what I found through research, a longer surgery didn't mean it was more successful only more money for the surgeon, which clearly was the furthest thing from Dr. Sehati's mind especially considering that I still haven't had surgery. He is a rare find and definitely takes into account the well being of his patients over his own financial gain. A++++
