My experience with the nurses on 4sw was awesome, they are the most caring and compassionate nurses ever. They were better than the doctors. They actually knew what to do for me more than the doctor that I saw maybe once a day to screw things up. If that place were run by those nurses it would be a perfect 10!

July 11th my husband went in with several issues, once he has severe heart problems and he sat there in the ER for six hours and no one was being called back or checked on. My husband is supposed to stay hydrated due to the amount of medication he's on and the nurses continuously told him he could not drink anything, it was to the point that he felt like he was going to pass out. By 11:30 pm he had enough and he walked out of the ER without being attended. The ER was packed and there were several people sitting outside waiting to be attended that probably shouldn't have been sitting out.

Late yesterday, I had an operation at Wellspan York and stayed overnight in the short stay unit. I cant say enough good things about all the nurses, aides and techs that took such remarkable care of me there. They were warm, caring ladies who handled themselves with the utmost professionalism!! Thank you to all of you!

I had to have an unexpected C-section in September. The hospital promptly scheduled my cesarean and did everything in their power to make me feel comfortable. Everyone was very nice and went above and beyond to help care for my baby and I during our stay.

Yes they do accept Medicare and Medicaid
Not the entire third floor is psych, in the tower it's intensive care and after surgery care. The only reason i know it's my mom broke her hip and spent two weeks in the hospital.
U can JUS walk in frm 8am -12pm .
You should check with the nurses station about your person.
It is a publicly available form called the 5 Wishes. It is part of an initiative to help patients and their families become more comfortable having difficult conversations about end of life wishes and plans. The booklet is publicly available by googling "5 wishes pamphlet" or by calling any wellspan office with a health coach or social worker and asking for one. Hope this helps.
I just recieved a letter stating wellspan will not be In Network for United Health Care starting Jan 2021
Infection control records
You can call the crisis hotline or see them in the ed and they will determine if inpatient treatment on the psych unit is needed or a referral to outpatient will do.
Call to find out
No idea,sorry
If you dont have the patients number to call the room just call the hospital directly and tell them who youre looking for and they should be able to transfer the call to them for you.
Yes. It's called A.M.A (against medical advice). Just tell your nurse you want to leave and ask her to get the paperwork to sign
8am to 2pm
Yes thats what i have also
Thank u Mark Evans lol.
For the hospital no. It's for emergency issues. You are better going to your PCP for that. If you go to urgent care you must pay out of pocket. They don't charge your insurance
You need to call the hospital yourself and find out but if your aren't next of kin or family they might not tell you but it is worth a shot.
What specific job
You would probably need a parent but call ahead first and find out.
Whatever office you're looking for just go in the main entrance and ask the information desk for directions .
You would probably fair better if you went to the Wellspan Urgent Care Center versus the Emergency Room. Also, I would encourage you to call Dr. Prats and set up an appointment with him. He has removed fatty lumps from my daughter's arm. But! Just to be on the safe side (since its under the arm) until you get in with him go to Urgent Care.
I think they are but can't be positive.
Usually the night before.
Yes
I believe they train their nursing assistants for 2 weeks. I dont think it costs anything, but is a prerequisite for hire.
Yes
Its a very good hospital although like any other hospital its not first come first treated they must prioritize case by case for obvious reasons at least for an emergency visit which only would make sense.
A hospital is not the place to go for an eye doctor.
Visiting hours are not restricted. However, after 8:30pm all visitors must use the lobby to enter and exit the building.
No you'd have to see an outpatient dentist. Unless the pain was so bad she would need to be admitted through the emergency department.
