Will never come here again. Let's first talk about how they have people waiting for hours, even those who are bleeding non stop. They violate HIPPA because the nurse doesn't shut the door when they call you for triage. Then to male matters worse after having me wait for 5 hours they brought me back to the hallway where other patients were waiting to talk to a physician( another HIPPA violation) I had my share of others people private business just sitting in the waiting room. This place was just a s@*t show for real. Then when I asked about how much longer or an eta they gave me attitude. To make matters worse. The labor and delivery sent a bby home who had jaundice and not even 24 hours later the baby had to come back cause he was very yellow as they sat for hours the babies color gotten worse. Last I checked we were still in covid season. While I waited not one did I see nurses techs or anyone wipe down anything. Only person I seen cleaning anything was the evs guy. There were at least 10 people using there wheelchair people coughing and some more stuff yet no one wiped anything down. Why are we still wearing mask? is ridiculous 😒 and we are supposed trust the hospital. Shame on you UPMC....

Been here from 21:45 until 1:17 am in pain for a womens health issue. If your a woman expect everyone in the waiting room to be taken before you. Will not be going here ever again! Had to leave and refuse care because horrible ER service. Try york hospital instead now after 4 wasted hours. Sexist operation. Complained. No apology just a do you want to be seen or not. This hospital ER sucks.

When to the ED for abdominal pains. I arrived at 830pm. Spend the night in the waiting room. It is 5:10am and I'm still waiting to be seen. Asked for an update about my status 2 hours ago and noone has updated me about anything. I'm sitting in the waiting area with a IV in my hand and noone has check on it or me since I've been here. I know there are other people waiting as well and noone has checked on them either. Time update 5:12am a tech is now going around checking vitals and Temps. I wonder if it's because there are alot people in here coughing. 🤔 Amazing, to have spend so many hours in the ED without and update or being checked on. 👎🏿

5/6/2021 Emergency Department is TRASH!! After walking in with my wife who is having ALOT of pain from Covid, which we both tested positive for and informed staff we were. They had taken vitals and a chest X-ray which we weren’t given results of not even what her temperature is! We were left to sit in the waiting room with other people and babies for 4+ hours. I thought this is supposed to be contagious and that’s why we’re isolating? At one point we had to sit outside because of the fever my wife has. No updates on when she was going to be seen even when staff came outside looking for a patient and wouldn’t ask my wife’s name in case she was who they were looking for. When asking staff when we might be seen they just said there busy and they have ambulances. I understand they do get busy and I can be a paitient person, but the 2 ambos we saw were dropping off people who were clearly not serious. As for the waiting room there were maybe 5 people waiting who were seen and left as more people started entering the Emergency Department. Meanwhile we’re still waiting with Covid.

It took us about an hour to get a room, they were really busy!! They did check blood pressure and EKG pretty quickly, just had to wait for available room.
That's how they operate. Unfortunately both hospitals are the same. You should go to an urgent care if it's not an emergency.

In my experience, usually seen in a reasonable amount of time. I've never experienced excessive waits at Memorial.
I registered for the Covid Vaccine on line. I am getting at least 2 text messages a day telling me to sign up for an appointment. When I try it does not work. I don't care if I have to wait to get an appointment but I get so upset every time I get a text and then I can't sign up anyway! I am 67 years old and I take care of 2 grandkids almost every day.
