They are rude when they see you browsing around, and sometimes if you ask them a question, especially the old man with the long bushy mustache. He will look at you as a way of saying, "Are you going to buy something or not". To which obviously doesn't feel like they want you at their store at all. And when you ask them if they have a type of game you are looking for; in which they will denied answering your question, or don't seem to want to help you at all. Plus the whole place is a mess and disorganized. Sometimes searching for a game you are seeking, is like finding a hay in the needle sac.

Never have I felt so disrespected in a store, after multiple attempts to be nice and start friendly conversation, the owner gives the vibe that something deeply serious has happened in his life and he is broken, to where he hates everyone and everything, people like this should do others a favor and stop what they are doing in life and just try something else. Sell the store my dear princess boomer..

Yeah they're pricey, but that's the cost of SUPPORTING LOCAL BUSINESSES instead of throwing money at a multimillion dollar company who would only give you 4 dollars for 15 brand new games because the game was opened. If you complain about price, then do your research BEFORE buying something instead of crying about how much you spent AFTER. It saddens me to see so many reviews on this place that don't take into account that these are people supporting themselves through a home grown business. They have, in my experience, extensive knowledge about the games and consoles that they sell. I had an issue with a game I bought from them and they worked with me to try troubleshooting the game, then offered an exchange of equal value when they couldn't get it to work either.

When looking for a Super Game Boy, a local recommended this place. I had driven past it a number of times in the past, but hadn't thought much of it given it's appearance from the street. I had assumed that they had a focus on skateboards, and that the video games were an afterthought. That they would maybe have one cabinet in the back with a few games. I was wrong. Their selection is immense. I've been in three times now, and spoken with the owner on each visit. He's very knowledgeable, and extremely helpful and friendly. He knows his stuff, and can usually recall stock of an item off-hand. As far as price is concerned, their third-party hardware and accessories like CRT TVs and controllers are tremendously affordable. Their first party consoles and games are more expensive than something like ebay, but are comparatively cheap to what you'd find in any brick and mortar retro game store. Cosmetic condition of the cartridges and controllers varies but everything is tested to work before being sold, and you can always inspect the item before you buy. If you're not sure if they have what you're looking for, go ahead and check them out, or just give them a call. They don't pressure you to buy if you want to come in and look around, and with the size of their selection, they probably have what you need.
