SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES! What a great store. We got our fresh Thanksgiving turkey from here in November and it was a hit. Other things we love from here are fresh apples, squash, thick-cut peppercorn bacon, butter, and fresh tomatoes. They have a little bit of everything. A special place.

It is my first time in this store and I was amazed by the products they have. This was literally the perfect store for those who always want something healthy cause the store has a lot of gluten free and organic products inside. They have various selection of it and some are those that may be available or those that are hard to find in any grocery stores around. It is also good to know that this area has this kind of store. It is also clean and well-organized. A perfect store where you can go in pick all what you wanted or what you needed pay and then easily go out. The prices of the products are all fair and reasonable too. I like their selections and I would probably be back.

A precious little gem in a big city, tucked away in Ukrainian village. I love that they homemade and speciality items ranging from organic truffles to grass fed liver paste, all at reasonable prices. Much rather support a small business than large corporate grocery chains whenever possible.

This place is simply wonderful. All their products are fresh, the coconut whipped cream is delicious and I couldn't believe their chocolate truffles were 100%organic. They are simply AMAZING!

Street parking, no parking lot
No sure exactly. I do shop at both, but WF doesn't grass finish beef like most Amish do. Also, if there's anyone it trust in today's world, it's the Amish. I've had some "organic" lemons that were the size of oranges from WH. Non-gmo? I trust Amish Foods.
No I don't believe so! This is not a butcher shop. They do have so frozen meats.
Just googled Amish Black Salve and it seems available on etsy from a number of vendors.
Poultry is a bit unique. Free range, soy free feed? I recommend that you visit and ask. I say visit because you'll be amazed at the additional selection and variety of quality heath foods. Good health!
Hey Tony, I don't think they have raw milk (not sure if you can sell raw in stores in IL). When I've been in Chicago I've gone directly to the farms to get that. You can google map search for raw milk farms nearest you.
Yes, but always call first.
Yes, they're open to the public.
