I’m a certified skating rink reviewer of over 60 years. Me and my team have just went to this terrible skating rink on tuesday and we have bad news. Every song that the DJ played was bad and the floor is terribly small, and it smells bad, and there is basically no regulation here not to mention the floor is coming up I highly recommend making better improvements to this mid rink and the owner should be studying the works of Lanham Skate Center or Laurel Skating Rink. I hope you understand or end up closing the rink.

Hmmm, this place is definitely tiny compared to other rinks I have been to. I am kinda jealous of the photos I see of the floor in the past because that's not what it looks like now. It's a bit tore up. The skates weren't bad, my pair were relatively new. The music wasn't bad. I feel like it's a decent family place and great for kids to learn to skate. It wasn't super crowded and we went on a Saturday afternoon. If you're looking for more filling snacks, they only have snacky snacks, so eat before you go. I gave it 4 stars because it served its purpose. The birthday boy wanted to skate, so he did. I had some fun going around and not breaking a hip. 😊

Floors better since the last time I came. Still can use some work, it’s gritty in places. Smaller than described, about half sized. I can skate for hours but the playlist they insist, I be ready to leave after 20mins if that. Must bring your own earphones/playlist to enjoy yourself. Ps Make sure their loud.

Just went back here last week. New floor feels nice and smooth but I really wish they could buy back the other half of the rink. It feels really small especially for the more experienced skaters. Music is not the best but they getting better. The staff is super friendly and helpful too. Good practice rink honestly.

How?
The community, of Charles county doesn't want, a big beautiful attraction like that, because it might bring in or draw the wrong types of people....it's really ashame they think this way, They won't even build a recreational center for the kids to play basketball,...because they believe that basketball..would bring the wrong type of people..that's why they took all the out door basketball hoops down. It's ashame but the truth, every other county has some type of major attraction for youth except for Charles county.Even Prince George's county skating Rink plays all types of music Charles county doesn't, because they have a mind set that is nothing of Black culture, not accepting of DC culture. And they are really trying to keep the riff Raff out that's why a major attraction like a beautiful skating ring or a community center for youth will not ever be built here.. and they would never give us the outdoor basketball courts back. Thank you
Yes I do believe so.
Saturday open skate sessions are from 1pm to 4pm, and 7pm to 10 pm.
It would open at 7pm if someone requested to have a party. Tuesday is Family Night 6pm-8pm $5/ Sunday 1pm-4pm $10
I have fun! I'll admit it's a lil old but I go there to skate and support it.
