Trader Joe's is always a fun spot for unique foods and cheap, yet great wines. The produce is fresh, but some of it can be expensive. Great frozen foods, my current favorites are the cauliflower rice and the cheese bread, love their carrot juice. Can't live without the Tea Tree Oil face wash, it removes all the makeup without drying my skin.

Trader Joe's is a great place. I am constantly surprised at how cheap and delicious the food is. Also the staff are always friendly. They gave us lollipops on this visit. This particular location has the shocking advantage of being across the street from a Nando's Peri-Peri.

Great foods at a lower price. Friendly and help full staff. Great to have this store in such an expensive area of a large city.

They have a smallish but high quality selection of organic produce and lots of good selections in frozen food. We especially like some of the Indian entrees and naan. Among their meats, I'm partial to the chicken shawarma. Their seasoned meats and frozen ethnic meats are iffy on general, though.

Yes, but it has always cost three bucks here in the midwest.
Evanston and Oak Park were the 2 most "Trader Joe's ready" communities when TJ's arrived in Chicagoland over 20 years ago and yet they were 2 of the last towns to get one. TJs has so many specific criteria, very different than what one might assume, before opening a store that one might call them over cautious. But it's part of their success.
