As a new local to Monrovia, having a lot of free time and lower expenses. This gym had just moved locations and was offering a discounted monthly deal. I grabbed it and have been a regular for just under 6 months now. Great Decision. NOTE: As they are renovating this new location, it is a work in progress and props to the owners for the progress in fixing the place up. I saw it from start to recent. They are making the gym look very good! Other Services On-Site -Massage therapist, her name is Faith and she runs Malie Massage. I have created her Google Business here on google maps, you can find her contact pop up on this gym location as well. -Cia Paulista Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. They also have a google business on google maps with the gym. You can find personal trainers here if needed. They have roughly 6 rooms in total. **Before review begins, all equipment is in great condition, with included weight locks for all machines** Parking There is a Lot located on S Primrose Ave, if full parking is available in 3 other spots. Along S Primrose Ave, Across the street in the plaza, or directly in front on foothill blvd. Room 1 - Normal entrance size (Womens restroom located on street side of building entrance) Entrance area - Treadmills, Front desk, smoothie bar, clothing for purchase, employee office. Room 2 - Main size Coming in from the parking lot, turn right. This room has all your free weights, squat racks, shoulder machines, back machines, Leg press machines, Bench Presses, Water fountain, Cubby for your belongings, they have steel plates and rubber plates. Room 3 - I don't use so can't comment. Directly above Room 2. There is a stairway to a mirror room for all gym members to practice posing. Room 4 - Main room 2 Coming in from the parking lot, turn left. I call this the Green room, for the color of the ground mats. You got the cable machines, Lined up with more treadmills, Stairmaster, new Rogue bike, Variety of smith machines for upper body and legs. Room 5 - smaller back-end room Coming into room 4, keep walking straight back to the wall with a huge pullup bar and punching bag. I gotta hand it to the owner, punching bags are VERY RARE in weight gyms. I joined mainly because of the punching bag, it was like icing on the cake for me. I can get a workout in, end with hitting the bag. Its great. There is also foam rollers, yoga mats, bicycle machines, Monster Tire, Dumbbells. People often do stretching and hide away if they want to be secluded. Room 6 - Medium size side-room (Men's Restroom located in this room) Coming into room 4 and make a left. You can take group Cycle or Bootcamp classes here at designated times. There is weighted balls, bicycle machines, kettle bells I think, more dumbbells and oddities to play with. Like a fake Grass area to play around. Conclusion: Everyone is really friendly. I don't talk much at all while at the gym. Everyone thinks I'm weird, probably from my resting grumpy face.. but they leave me alone haha. I will ask for spots on the bench press, but not much talking besides that. Everyone who I've asked to spot me has done so very friendly. Lots of people who know what their doing here, they have an Instagram for the gym. You can follow them there and get updates. I recommend coming to this gym as its a great environment. Keep in mind: Any gym is going to be busy during peak hours, so come at other times if you don't like a busy gym. If you have no choice, I always turn my workout routine to whatever is available. Lets say a leg press just opened as I come in, everything else is full. Looks like im starting with Leg Press and just go in with this mindset during peak hours. You may also have to park on the street. Non of this is a con, since this is normal with gyms. I would say the only Con is not having a swimming pool, if you are looking for that. (More pictures of each room to come, i forgot to take pics)
