I initially dropped by looking to train in escrima, but I got to experience excellent instruction in various striking, grappling and weapons techniques which exceeded my expectations. The facility is top notch; cleanliness and a very welcoming atmosphere. There are numerous experienced martial artists that are black belts in various disciplines that also train here, and they stay because there's always a new lesson to learn. No egos here, everyone looks to do their best and help each other to become better. The challenges and lessons that you experience training here will translate into personal growth that will foster humility and shape you into a better person. Kali Method isn't just like any martial arts school, Guro Jason lives and breathes martial arts and he instills that spirit, discipline and legitimacy into his academy. Whether you have zero experience or if you're a seasoned veteran in martial arts, training at Kali Method will build up your personal character and the confidence to handle challenges that come your way.

Learning so much at the Women's Self-Defense class! I'm building confidence, internalizing, and feeling what works rather than by responding with fear. To call it just a place where people learn how to punch, kick, self defend, grapple, judo throw, knife fight, stick fight and workout would be a huge understatement/ disservice to my teacher, mentor and friend Guro Jason Cruz. There has never been a class that has not left me completely mind blown to how much I have to learn. I have been a martial artist for 22 years and a member of kali method for 7 years. I have seen the school grow so much and look forward to the growth to come.
