They does last-minute cancellation. It is hard to get a passport appointment in all the usps locations. Still, I waited for a month to apply passport for my child. On the day of appointment they call and say “passport clerk is not available” . Does that make any sense there should be at least someone for a backup. And I got a call from unknown number I can't even make a call back..

Came here today to process 5 passport applications. Spent a small fortune. My only consolation was that the person who helped us was extremely helpful, knowledgable and organized. She also had phenomenal hair. Lol! Great customer service. It took about 30 to 40 mins to process a family of 5 and that was impressive considering all the work involved. Thank you!!

Went to get passport pictures and passport application taken care off, lady was through and organized, glad me made our appointment here. Highly recommend. Didn't mind our 77 mile drive.

I went there in rags and I was treated like a homeless person... I wanted to rent a box, and I was told by the supervisor that the post boxes were reserved for the "locals," since it's a small post office. The supervisor kept advising me that if I could provide a local address that I could have a free mailbox, and that only large mailboxes were available. In the end, she did not rent me a mailbox, because my second proof of address was my insurance, which was on my phone, but not printed; this may be good enough for the Highway Patrol, but not for the U.S. Post Office, at least not at this location. So much for serving my country in the Marine Corps and community in many arenas... I wonder if she would have treated me the same in my professional attire...

It depends on where you live. If you live in and area that gets mail delivered to roadside mail boxes, you have to pay for a PO Box. If you don't live in an area without mail delivery, you do not have to pay for a PO Box.
