We were here last night. It’s a tiny little hole in the wall with such wonderful French atmosphere. The outside seating seemed very nice but too chilly for me. We started with their escargot served out of the shell with a slightly toasted baguette. Perfect balance of garlic and oil. I had the days special, duck a La orange which was fantastic - crisp, well cooked in a tasty orange glaze over root vegetables. My husband had the seafood bouillabaisse with a saffron cream sauce and highly recommends it. The service was top drawer and the prices reasonable. We had a wonderful dinner. Reservations recommended.

What to say...Once upon the time in the west...We stopped by Pomme Frite while visiting a customer for a furniture restoration estimate and we fall in love with the place. As French people, we sometimes miss French and Belgium food and what a gift was given to us to find Pomme Frite. We only tried the appetizers and main courses but next time for sure, we will try the desert. Thank you, this was delicious. Escargots, Vol au Vent, Canard a l'orange ;-0

Small little bistro with great French cuisine. Enjoyed my steak and fries. I liked how flavorful the butter was. Service was great, they were busy at dinner time so have some patience.

The decor reminds you of being in Belgium, with many Art Deco posters all over all the walls. The place cozy but still spacious enough. The menu is unique in Palm Springs, probably the only French cuisine in downtown area. We had Scampi in butter and parsley, frog legs, sole meunière, Flemish beef stew, all excellent. Very savoury and rich, didn’t spare the butter. Then well toasted bread was just right. The frites was mediocre. The 3 sauces, ketchup, mayo and salsa brava saved the frites. Would come back to try other plates for sure.
