I found what looks to be a small voodoo doll here with the likeness of American media personality Regis Philbin, mostly known for his show from 1988 - 'Live! with Regis and Kathie Lee' . Philbin holds the Guinness World Record for the most time spent in front of a television camera, but lately has slowed down a bit I'm guessing from the constant mystical abuse he's received from the voodoo doll. Meh, it was only a dollar. Nice thrift shop.

This little consignment store is literally at the end of a street. It is in an obscure building that looks like a DMV. After you get inside you will be politely greeted and if you make the mistake of arriving near closing time they will let you know rather abruptly. The store has a myriad of items, with not easy to find overpriced tags. Florescent lighting that makes your complexion look awful, is throughout the store. Why does it feel when you go to these brick and mortar stores that the customer is inconveniencing the staff and owners? Aren't we the people that help you stay in business?

Lovely , very clean thrift store with high quality items at very good prices. And it's a great charity !

Originally opened via the generosity of Jackie Lee Houston, a desert philanthropist (now dec'd), this center sells donated items in support of the Neuro Vitality Center (fka Stroke Center) in Palm Springs. Items range from knick knacks to clothing. Some good "finds" include cheap crossword puzzles, adapters and plugs for electronics, some furniture, kitchen items and small appliances. Priced more than fair, its a fun place to visit.
