This was my first time at Bludso's Bar & Que, a friend thought I needed to get to know the place, and I agreed. The ambience is a Bar with wooden tables and benches, very rustic. The staff took into account that I was "new" and explained patiently and in detail the food options. We went with a combination of Pulled Pork, Lean Brisket, and Ribs. Served with Fries and Coleslaw, with a great BBQ sauce (I went with mild, tried spicy and stuck with mild), I ate way too much, but I could not really stop... Yes, soooo good. Even though it's a world away in LA (one hour drive there, 35 min back to Torrance) it is worth it. I will be back.

This place is hands down the tastiest bbq meat in my neighborhood if not LA. Brisket is so tender and perfectly seasoned. The cornbread is from another planet. I’m obsessed with the garden salad. Staffs are super friendly. Justin and Trevor are the best! Love this place!

We had a very good experience here. It was four of us and we all tried different items from the menu. Everything we ordered was delicious, but chicken (half chicken) was the best! Even signature sides were great. The sauces they served with the food were really good as well. Definitely coming back!

BETTER THAN FRANKLIN'S. I've traveled across the country and tried most of the "top" BBQ places such as Franklin's, Terry Black's and more. The quality of the food, the atmosphere of the location, the friendly staff and the AMAZING PRICES push this location to the top of the top as far as I'm concerned! I have simply never had better bbq in my life and I will be back again and again and again and... The brisket was perfectly tender and incredibly tasty. The pork ribs were my favorite, the rub was sweet and savory and tasted so good it didn't even need BBQ sauce! The BBQ sauce is delicious - hot and mild and are used not as a cover for mediocre food but as a flavor enhancement for DELICIOUS food!

Yes, same company, different location.
Long Beach Blvd location is closed. La Brea location is wonderful with sit down dining and a full bar. They have opened a new location in the Proud Bird on Aviation near LAX that is quite good but for the most part food court self serve dining.
According to news articles online, owner Kevin Bludso was unable to reach an agreement with the owner of the building, forcing Bludso to close the Compton location permanently.
If you search on Google under bludsos the Google page comes out and you can click on "menu" and prices are included.

Call them & see but remember Torrance isn't nearly Hollywood.
It's in Hollywood. You can use Google maps and map it out
2-3 days prior
No
Hands down it's the best around LA
Call them and ask, I'm sure they can
Idk to my knowledge it's the same people
I only recommend the brisket, sides are horrible, ribs, weird seasoning and tin tops are just ok I prefer woody's!
Chow Now can have up charges on prices, you might get a cheaper deal ordering by phone straight from the restaurant.
We will be frying a limited amount of turkeys on Thanksgiving day. Details will be on Instagram and Facebook next week
For California they are dam good
It varies on the basis of what NFL/NBA teams are currently playing.
I've never had a problem parking on La Brea.
