Staff is amazing . My favorite plate is rice and beans with pork tacos with napoles and hand made tortillas . As well, my favorite tamale de dulce y un horchata.

I was there first time yesterday! Such a cool spot, people! Nacos with chicken and veggies are super tasty. The ambience is casual and feels like home. Too noisy, but I liked it! Looking forward to came back soon!

My favorite place to eat in LA! The food is always fresh and delicious. I’ve been coming here for over 20 years and it has stayed consistent - welcoming with amazing food. I highly recommend the carnitas plate though you can’t go wrong with anything you pick. If you need something sweet, don’t forget to try the jamaica.

@always faithful La Luz Del Dia is NOT expensive at all! The food is so DELICIOUS I travel 35 miles at least once a month to eat there! My mother used to take me there since she first immigrated to this country as it was one of the few places that made her feel as if she was in her old Mejico (misspelled on purpose, for proper pronunciation)! Love La Luz Del Dia, please never change!!
