I am a homeowner in Deerfield Beach an had a few questions about pulling a permit I need for the windows I want to replace in my home. They were very friendly, very helpful, and answered all of my questions I had. It was a pleasant surprise to me, in my past experience working with government agencies has not been to great, most of them are not very customer service oriented when they know they have a monopoly. But I can only say good things about them.

I contacted the Deerfield Beach building department before getting impact windows installed because I had a few questions. Answered my three questions quickly and clearly. I had to schedule a final inspection after the windows were installed. Scheduling the inspection was easy, I simply had to leave a voice message with some information. The morning of the inspection, I call David to find out what time he would be here. "Between 9-11," he said. He arrived at 10:30 and was prompt with his work. He also gave me a tip to increase the safety of my home.

I’ve been there a couple times to pull a permit and all the staff is very efficient. It’s nice to go to a building department where you don’t have to wait over an hr for service.
