Beautiful theater. Purchasing online they had super low fees vs most other venues. Smaller and intimate. Great Celtic Women performance. Seats that were row G and a bit on the side still very nice. Aisle was best.

This is a beautiful theater! There's a moderately priced concession stand. The way the theater is shaped the sound is never an issue, no matter where you sit. I worked security here and the honestly isn't a bad seat in the house. Wonderful venue!

The Granada underwent renovations for a number of years and the resulting theater is much like the old one except it is no longer shabby. Absolutely beautiful - the Granada is great as it is reminiscent of the "golden age of Hollywood" - red velvet drapes with gold ties, curved staircases - lovely and elegant - much smaller and more intimate than the Arlington so all seats enable one to see the performance. I saw Sleeping Beauty several days ago and while the ballet was about 20 minutes longer than it needed to be, the fact that the live orchestra is visible by looking down more than made up for this.

Awesome place. A classic theater. The building and the decorations are well preserved and creating unbelievable mood. We went there for Kismet. Also awesome.

As posted on the Santa Barbara Symphony Facebook page: The Red Violin has been postponed to June 16 and 17. Tickets purchased will be automatically transferred to the June dates.
Good question. Perhaps they'll postpone it.
It's still the same if you're not vaccinated you need to wear a mask
When Edward Johnson, principal stockholder of the Portola Theater Company, purchased the California Theatre on W. Canon Perdido Street in 1920, he envisioned a bright entertainment future for the town. At that time, there were only four movie houses, and one, the Strand Theatre, was being replaced by a motorcycle shop. By 1922, Johnson had incorporated the California Theatre Company and announced an ambitious plan, a grand theater seating 2,000 people in an eight-story office building. While primarily a movie house, it would host live performances as well.
No
Not positive but I'm pretty sure there isn't any. There is a public parking structure behind the theater and during Theater events the structure Has a dedicated parking area.
When you are buying your tickets, there is a seat map for the specific show you are attending. You can choose any seat you want.
This question was directed to other Google users. You should probably contact the Granada box office
That is a very good question. I believe the answer is both. However, in my experience if you know ahead of time which show you'll be attending, I would call ahead to receive the service(s) you'll need.
Heard a concert that our nephew was playing in was cancelled but I can't remember where or the group name.
I believe they said on FB that they were, along with Monday's Brian Setzer Orchestra concert.
Yes season tickets are offered
As in most theaters "all ticket sales are final" unless of course the show was cancelled.
Don’t go see any concert there! They have the worst sound system! We all left the Elle King show very early because yiu could not hear a word she sang!
