Availablity of classes and instructors is great with Up to date equipment, Clean and safe enviroment with very friendly and helpful staff. Laid back community and friendly patrons, seemingly unjudgmental and courteous. What more could you want from a gym? Reasonably priced in an inflated economy. Very solid place to come work out, and meet like minded folks.

Great gym, much better than the Austin street location. Lots of facilities including a sauna. The staff is very friendly too, if you ever need help with anything ask for Simon. Been going here for about 2 years and the service has stayed excellent.

Returned after about 7 years because the YMCA I had been going to has had services drastically reduced. I was very disappointed. Almost all the weight machines have problems. The pins hang out halfway and they practically pop out when you are working out. On almost all the machines the lower weight options are not even available, the pin will not go in. Most of the mechanisms for raising and lowering seat height, etc. are very sticky and can barely move. On the way out I mentioned these problems to the front desk person, she seemed completely clueless both as to the problem or what to do about it. Did not even suggest I speak to the manager. Amazing this club can continue with such ill maintained machines. I won't be going back.

I've been coming to this gym for about 10 years The good. It's affordable Equipment is pretty decent. It's not crowded. Staff is very friendly. The bad Every Winter for about a month there's no hot water. Once a month the showers have gnat flying all over. There are hooks missing in the showers. You have to pay for parking. I would pay $10 more a month for all of this to be fixed and $20 if they give 1/2 price parking pass for a 3hrs.

Same here...I was paying $29 a month..and now I'm paying $39.a month and everytime I want to speak to the manager..he's never there or he is busy
Then go to another club. You'll notice the difference. Another suggestion is contact the manager directly and voice your displeasure and put your concerns in writing.

There is a parking garage and the gym validates the ticket so you pay a much lower rate. Street parking is also available if you can find one.

Depends on if you plan to use just this location or multiple NYSC clubs. Just this location is $40/mo with a 1-year contract, $45/mo month-to-month (no contract). Passport (multiple locations) costs more, but not sure on price. Probably somewhere around $80 or $90/mo?
