Found out after looking at this place that the space rent was over a $1,000 a month, along with you paying utilities, taxes, insurance, and all property maintenance. (Unless, a tree is life threatening for instance, & could fall on our home) will the management pay. Other than that, it's not a place as a senior that you can move into and be worry free. It also needs a facelift badly. The roads need paving, and the country club is old, musty smelling, and tired looking. I was also told that, because there is a heavy elderly population in this area, and this place is the next affordable step up to the nursing home up the street called Adderdag. So, lots of elderly that shouldn't be living here, does, and use their neighbors as their check in caretakers, and on several occasions will have to call emergency help for them. Since, you have to be 55+ to live here, I wanted a more active community. This was too old. No thanks, I would rather live in a condo or a 55+ that the management at least pays for bug spraying, and basic maintenance. For that kind of money, along with the cheapest home there being over $250K. How can I retire off my SS, with that much space rent, that they also raise yearly with no cap?
