Fresh products and other items. Shop there a lot but some times I need to go back because there out of the products I use. Friendly staff.

For restaurants, however, some items are expensive, compare to other distributors.

GFS or Gordon food service is like a little neighborhood Costco. While they don't have televisions or air conditioners they do have a wide range of large portion often discounted food and food serving products. They sell eggs in a box of 15 dozen. They're shredded cheese comes in 5 lb bags and is some of the best creamiest cheese available. I like it better than brand names like Kraft which often come in 8 or 16 oz bags at the grocery store. They have a huge freezer section with many prepared foods that many restaurants use to save time and you can prepare them in your own home without the restaurant markup. There is rarely a line at checkout and you can order online and they'll bring your order to your vehicle when you arrive. One of my favorites has been buying Greek pita bread and gyro meat and making gyros at home. They do have a fresh produce section and a fresh meat section. Even though they do high volume you have to watch out for fresh veggies and know what you're buying. While many of their prices are seemingly discounted off of smaller portions not all of their prices are cheaper than alternatives to brand names. We do most of our shopping at Aldi and buy a number of large portion foods at GFS.

GFS or Gordon food service has been a local neighborhood shopping experience for almost 10 years.. They have expanded their selection of Cuban grocery items with a huge selection off in rivaling full size grocery stores including small size packages. I have been getting gyro meat and Greek pita bread which is different.. from the traditional Lebanese ... no pocket. Many of their items come in large containers 5 lb bags of french fries a gallon of soy sauce.. but they also have normal size items of a limited selection. You can pick up a gallon of milk fresh fruit and pre-packaged large cuts of meat. Pamela is an excellent manager and was very helpful working to make sure every customer found what they were looking for. Great selection and because it's a small store it's a lot like having a pocket size version of Costco in my neighborhood.. One of the best deals for a big family who eat a lot of eggs is buying a case of eggs currently $16 for extra large eggs.. I also recommend large bags of shredded cheese their mozzarella and cheddar are excellent and actually much better than some of the competitors. The mozzarella melts wonderfully. They also have a huge selection of frozen desserts some are pastries and some are served cold. GFS has a website and you can order online and they'll bring it out to your car when you arrive.

In this place you can find all kinds of frozen and fresh desserts for all requirements
It is not necessary, you can always buy without a card but if you have one you accumulate points that are worth money
