Super awesome crew had a great time, one crew member cursed towards young adult that threw up everywhere multiple times, kid was asked to puke over the side and wouldn't, but if that kid threw up on my boat I'd be way more upset than these guys, love the atmosphere.

A foggy start turned into an amazing experience! The Captain and crew of "Ranger 85" were welcoming and very hospitable. The cruise was was conducted with professionalism and courtesy. It wasn't until we had already turned and headed back to shore, after more than two hours of searching, that our elusive prize, the spouts of Grey whales, were seen. Captain Jimmy positioned the boat for the best possible photos and then turned us, jubilant, back towards home. We saw the whales, bottle-nosed dolphins, sea lions and of course many types of sea birds. Each species given an appropriate amount of attention and detail. Thank you for an amazing experience!

We went out on Ranger 85 for a whale watching trip. This was the 2nd time we took this trip on Ranger 85. Both times the crew were super nice and so helpful! We had 2 seniors with us, 1 using a walker and 1 in a wheel chair. The guys helped us load and unload and kept everyone safe. They took us out and cruised the channel. We got to see a few grey whales and a sunfish on this trip. Usually we see a ton of dolphins, but not on this trip. The only thing we did not like, compared to other whale watching trips we've taken with other companies, this boat kind of just cruises, which can (and did) cause sea sickness. The other boats we've been on take us out to the islands and tend to be a bit more speedy. But over all, it's a great group of people running the show. Knowledgeable crew and like I said, so friendly and helpful!

Best place to go deep sea fishing! I was canceled at Hooks Landing sport fishing and found a similar charter with Channel Island Sportfishing, Same time and all! Was still able to go out on my birthday! I managed to catch a wide variety of fishes! Definitely will book again!!!

There is a kids price on some of the boats daily. On certain days of the week, kids ride free in the Gentleman but check schedule.
There are plenty of different places to fish from around the docks but you can't fish the docks that the boats are at

Hello Margaret, Here's a list that might help. https://www.channelislandssportfishing.com/hotels-restaurants-attractions
Hello Robbie, here's a link for you. https://www.channelislandssportfishing.com/what-to-bring
Hi Ronald, at this time, the boats have been catching a variety of fish depending on which time of day you depart. White Seabass, some Yellowtail, halibut, Rockfish, Whitefish, Calico bass and other surface fish. Here's a link to the daily fish counts. https://www.channelislandssportfishing.com/fishcounts
https://ciscos.fishingreservations.net/sales/ Here's the link to their pricing, it's $175 for overnight. Check where they are going because sometimes you'll be fishing for the exact same thing as the day trips so there isn't really a big difference in the catch. When I went we did catch our own bait, live squid, but then we just fished rock cod and ling.
