It has all the Chinese ingredients you want to buy. There are fresh vegetables, fruits, dried food, meat, fresh fish, kitchen supplies and so on. I always come here. The only cons is the place is too small. They have 2 floors, and there is no elevator, so you have to use the stairs. One of the Chinese grocery stores I often go to.
Anwei Chai
Typical Chinese supermarket. It's quite compact but offers many varieties from vegetable fruit to meat to live seafood and many other cooking necessities. Veges may not come as fresh or clean as those offered in the chain grocery stores but many veges are unique to Chinese or Asian dishes which you can hardly find in those chain stores. In terms of fish, you can find live ones here, even the live bullfrogs. My favorite is dried shrimp useful for making delicious buns.

This supermarket is huge and has lots of varieties to choose from! I am from Toronto and had a list of things I needed to get and this supermarket had exactly what I needed. I also ended up buying something like these tea leaves which are not found in Canada so that was nice. Line was quick, cleanliness was good, workers most wore masks and gloves.

Hong Kong Super Market on Hester and Elizabeth. The good: large and ample supply of everything with a good selection. The not so good: Can't really think of anything negative. Overall: the pricing is pretty standard, and a decent standard Chinese market.

I didn't look for that specially. So I don't know
The prices of masks are high at the moment because of increased demand and the scarcity of masks at the moment. Prices will probably come down a bit when the supply increases with ramped up production. Stay safe!

There is an indoor parking lot on Elizabeth St just north of Canal on the east side. There is another parking lot on Lafayette just north of Canal also on the east side. Cars are stacked about four high on elevator platforms. I am guessing that they may charge about $15 per half hour, but it could be much more.
Pickled bamboo, definitely. Not sure if they have cha-om, but they have a pretty big produce section so it's worth a try!
You can try Whole Food sale in Jackson. It's a really nice place they have a lot of variety of vegetables and fruits. Hope it helps!
