Took out my paddle board on the Fox River by Pottawatomie Park today. They have a dock on the park side just past the bridge. Park by the City Hall and walk to the dock. You can also access the River on the other side by Boy Scout Island. There’s a nice place to the right of the ramp when facing the River to take out or put in your kayak or paddle boards.

Our family loves Pottawatomie park. We feel closer to nature when we stroll around here. They have different playground sets for young kids. They have an exercise area for the Moms and Dads. They have a great outdoor space for playing ball games for the older kids. The park is also excellent for family picnics. They have a mini golf area which the kids really love. We like that it is by the river but the huge trees that they kept through the years are our favorite.

Awesome big park. Plenty of space to picnic or just walk around right on the river. There's a mini putt and excersize machines with a ball field attached. Public pool and boat rides near by. Paddle boat and kayak rentals available. One big area you can spend all day at, give it a try.

Everyone at this park was pleasant and helpful. Every person we came across was smiling. The Paddle oat "cruise" was enjoyable. A very peaceful trip on the Fox River.

Yes
Correct. Public park with no fee. There are activities there that you can pay for like miniature golf.
Not real food just junk food but there are a few good sit down restaurants nearby
Yes, bathrooms are open and surprisingly clean 👍
Yes
It is free. There is mini golf, cruise, boat rental and water park for which you have to pay.
You can put up canopies, most likely a permit is needed. Check out the St. Charles Park District website for more information.
I'm pretty sure it is only closed to the public when there are special events being held in the gazebo or when the park itself is closed. Pottawatomie is open every day from 6 to 11.
I never considered parking at the park since I ride my bicycle here from Naperville. Its only 17 miles from my house and it's almost all on bike trails.
You should go to the police station located at north Avenue right next to the river
Dogs AND little kids are pretty much always here. As the father of four kids I need to add that unfortunately little kids are rarely on leashes.
Im Not Really Sure When Our Pastor Give us The Time To be There it's @ 11:00 A M To 5:00 PM So my Suggestion is To Call Them
I think if you are planning on reserving many tables or the hedge for parties, you have to book in advance so that no one else occupies them.
Your best bet is to go to the St. Charles Park District website and inquire about boat rental cost. I've not rented a boat there (or any place else), so I can't be of any help with that. Good luck!
It's from morning to evening we went around 2 pm. One hour ride $19
