We have been driving from North County to Lucky's for years we've loved the choices quality of food and the courtesy of the workers recently we've experienced a downfall in them all!! Our last visit will be just that our last visit the 2 counter workers were not acceptable to my food request they acted as if requesting something as small as ordering Hot Egg Rolls since the choices in the pans looked dried up and hard! I ordered hot wontons and chicken egg rolls when received the worker packed the hot wontons then my hot chicken egg rolls were dumped in with the cold ones which I received! When I told them they weren't hot the worker said "that's all we've got do you want them" I said No Give Me A Refund she snatched them off the counter asked do you want cash gave it to me and walked away in a huff at best its lack of customer service at worst rude! I'm sure I will let the dozens of friends and relatives know about my experience and will not return or recommend Lucky's to anyone again so sad...

I got the family special and they let me make substitutions at no extra cost. They also threw in free almond cookies and extra fortune cookies! Love this place!

Nope, not a buffet. When you walk in, to the left is 'to go' hot pans, pick and choose. You can also order specials, like chowmein or rice, chicken wings, or egg foo young. To the right is sit down waiter service. Same good food served in family shared plates. Best Chinese in santee..
