This is not the Macy's of a few years ago. I have recently visited both Ocean County Mall and Freehold Raceway Mall locations. Looking for better sportswear, dresses and bathing suits I found the racks a total mishmash of styles and sizes, no order or organization. Groups of coordinating pieces used to be shown together for easy shopping. Today's Macy's resembled a bargain basement store without the bargain prices. I did not make a purchase. Very disappointing as I do not wish to shop for fashion online.

Not many store associates on duty. Some departments were a mess - clothes were all over the place - unlike Macy's. Nice price on men's bathing suits.

Wow, what happened to Macy's? I haven't shopped here in a few years - what a change. Disorganized racks, clothing hung on the wrong sized racks so they are dragging on the floor. Clothing on the floor and just thrown over racks. Hangers strewn about. The carpet stained and filthy in general. Looks like the carpet hasn't been vacuumed in weeks. By contrast I went into JCPenney and it was beautiful, who would have thought?

Awful. I wouldn’t buy anything from this department store - not knowing if the items were on the floor and trampled on the day before…. I talked with several sales people who said they cannot find help… Sad state of affairs. No respect from shoppers and a nonexistent workforce.
