I have nothing but good things to say about Sweet water PD.Ive done several ride alongs with multiple officers and they are very wise and professional about what they do on the daily.They taught me the ethics and courage behind the badge.Serving and protecting the community seems like the number one priority! Those are the type of people that need to be protecting and serving the community.(I don’t reside in sweetwater). Not to mention I have done multiple ride alongs with various agency’s prior. This is a well rounded department that is growing in a positive matter.I really appreciate the opportunity to be able to observe and learn the proper way to TREAT and deal with many types of people.

I can not accuse every single police officer who works for the police department of sweetwater but the ones I have encountered tackling me down when I had my hands up and was trying to explain the situation. He did say move back, but there was no space behind me to move back as I was instructed than the police man reached for my throat and tackled me down. I have a couple of Lacerations and injuries from being handle by the police man. I still can’t feel my left thumb normally As I was being moved I asked the officer that the handcuffs where too tight multiple time and to loosen them up he choose not to loosen the cuff this action made me lose feeling in my thumb. Ps there also a review by a guy named Orlando Fernandez I don’t think his review is valid because he works for that department. And he did gave it 5/5

Worst attitude I've ever encountered!!!! If you guys have any work with police record don't even bother going here there people are just ripoff , i went in for my police record yesterday paying the parking meter and guess what after waiting in line they tell me the guy is not here so probably tomorrow they can get me ! Wth ! Are you gonna refund my parking meter from your police station ? And then i go to the other police station they get my work done asap and just charge me $5 wooow !!! So all this time i had paid sweetwater police dept $15 thats three times more than usual !! Damn ! These people are taking advantage of us ! Is the extra money used by them to donate cancer ppls ?lol ! STOP this cheating sweetwater.
