I took the crew there for lunch because they had never been to a Steak 'n Shake. Was sad to see the cashier's and wait staff were replaced with a touchscreen. But I've got to say the burgers were just awesome! Fresh and delicious so AAA+ to the Cook.

35 minutes to get your order at this place? I pulled up to the drive thru and waited 10 minutes. The line never moved. So I went inside and ordered. Twenty-five minutes later (I checked the time stamp on my receipt), my order came out. And there were only 5 orders in front of mine. I don't know if this disaster of restaurant service is Covid related or not, but they didn't seem to be understaffed. I saw a good half-dozen employees working in the front. Not to mention that every table in the place was dirty and there were no napkins in the dispenser. And, of course, they also managed to get my order wrong - which I was pretty much expecting by that point.

I love steak and shake. They have some of the best fries in the fast food industry. Their fries are super skinny! Oh and ask for a side of cheese sauce to dunk your fries. The best! A few things about this Steak and Shake... they are slow. Like I can't take my hour lunch break drive to the steak and shake in Sunrise, FL, get in line, order, wait, get my food, eat in the parking lot and head back to with within an hour. Oh and they overly salt the fries. I'll eat them like that but it's way too salt! We ask for fries with no salt. And they are absolutely perfection!

What can you say about the Waffle House of burgers? The food is good, but not great. This location was lacking help which resulted in a long wait, but everywhere is as well. The shakes are definitely worth going there for, no matter how long the wait is.
