I had the most positive experience that I've ever had at a car dealership. Mark was AWESOME! He took all the time needed to make me feel welcome. He was like a counselor to help me make tough decisions about which car was best for me. Very professional. He stayed long past closing. Billy was also GREAT! He gave me a fair price on my prior vehicle. Was very helpful. Stephanie, was very friendly and that probably caused me to buy all the things that she wanted to sell me lol. So far, this dealership is 5 stars, and I never want to go to Porsche or Maserati again! You'd think such fancy car names would be good but I had awful experiences at both of those. BMW is the best so far.

I am a great believer that you only have one opportunity to make a lasting impression. And when it comes to purchasing your new car, the relationship you establish with your dealer/salesman is invaluable for the long term. With a limited inventory in this market, our salesman [D.chikezie] assisted us in ordering a vehicle with our desired specifications. The vehicle arrived within the timeline they specified, and the best thing was that they honored the MSRP pricing; No Market Adjustment Baloney. I could not be more pleased with the stellar service and long-term vision demonstrated by the BMW Lauderdale team.

Out of all the cars I've purchased in my life, buying a Portimao Blue 2022 330i M Sport from Leo was the highlight. Never in my life have I been treated so well and had the process of buying the car made so simple and painless. I will gladly continue to buy from Leo from now on. I cannot recommend both Leo and the dealership enough.

Do dealerships register cars for you?

Lauderdale BMW of Pembroke Pines | Jan 9, 2022
Lauderdale BMW of Pembroke Pines | Jan 9, 2022

This is a good question. The answer all depends on which state the car is purchased in. In some states the buyer will need to take care of the registration outside the purchase of the vehicle, while in other states the dealership pays the registration on the buyer’s behalf as it is factored in as total cost of the vehicle. In the latter instance, the dealer registers the new car at the point of sale and forwards the information onto the DMV. In this scenario, it typically it takes about three weeks for the buyer to receive their registration in the mail.

Conventional hybrids (HEV) are primarily gas-powered cars that use electric motors to help out the internal combustion engine. Plug-in hybrids (PHEV) have a battery-powered electric motor that can function independently with enough range for a daily commute. The also have a conventional gas engine to extend the vehicle’s range. Battery electric vehicles (BEV) are powered solely by a battery and electric motor. When hydrogen is combined with air in the vehicle’s fuel cell, electricity is created and used to power the car’s electric motor.

Do I need to get my car serviced even if I'm not driving as often?

Lauderdale BMW of Pembroke Pines | Sep 6, 2021
Lauderdale BMW of Pembroke Pines | Sep 6, 2021

Your vehicle may be spending a lot more time in the driveway these days, delaying a mileage milestone that illuminates a service reminder light. While maintenance recommendations are often based on mileage or time, it’s important to consider that right now the suggested schedules could look a little different. Idle vehicles can suffer from dead batteries, stale gas and flat tires, which can lead to bigger, more costly issues down the road. Staying on top your maintenance routines will keep your vehicle in tip-top shape for when you’re ready to hit the open road.

What's the difference between used and certified pre-owned?

Lauderdale BMW of Pembroke Pines | Sep 6, 2021
Lauderdale BMW of Pembroke Pines | Sep 6, 2021

A used car is one that has had at least one previous owner and can be any age. A used car will usually only offer the remainder of the manufacturer's warranty, if it still applies. A certified pre-owned car or CPO is usually not more than 5-7 years old and is backed by the manufacturer. These vehicles are put through rigorous, multi-point inspections by trained technicians, and come with an extended warranty. The complete inspection of a CPO results in the replacement or repair of any damaged or worn parts before the car is certified and offered up for sale.

What's the difference between leasing and buying?

Lauderdale BMW of Pembroke Pines | Sep 6, 2021
Lauderdale BMW of Pembroke Pines | Sep 6, 2021

Leasing allows you to get more car for your money by allowing you to drive a more expensive car with lower payments - when compared to owning a car of the same price. Leases are structured in 2 to 3 year increments which means you will always be covered by a warranty and can get a new vehicle at the end of your leasing term. Buying offers freedom in other arenas with no restrictions on the miles driven or customization options. Once a financed vehicle is paid off, you will not have to make any more payments and you may keep the vehicle as long as you want. Warranties do expire, but you always have the option to purchase an extended warranty.

Contact your insurance company first. Many policies cover this kind of windscreen damage, deductible free. YMMV of course
