The most ghetto employment place ever in history. Shut this location down or either hire all new employees. Also cover your az and always be recording them on every level. Back your az up with these people because they're gonna back each other up as well. So record ⏺️ on the go like mad crazy. Works are rude and nasty and very disrespectful over the phone when calling etc. Need to write ✍️📜 this on yelp as well a animal shelter is better then this place by far. #Salvationarmy

It was a blessing to see how they work with people and the community... Thumbs up to Mrs. Wilson and Staff

When i first arrived at 12pm after intake i left to get my kids from school. I returned before curfew to find the mattresses filthy and no linen was provided. The room was freezing cold. One of the staff memebers Jonny managed to find us some fitted sheets and pillows. The next day i mentioned it to a supervisor and she said that they didnt have any and that she was going out to get some. I came back that night and still didnt have any until Johnny once again saved the day with brand new sheets, blankets, towels and wash rags. I had to sanitize my mattresses and room thouroughly due to Covid protocols and precautioms for my kids and i. With all the money provided thru donations i dont expect the food to be gourmet but it could be so much better. They rarely ever have condiments, juice and so many other things. Where is the pop up inspections? Something needs to be done Not to mention there are no activities for kids and its al.ost chriatmas and theres no tree or decorations. .

Salvation Army is an awesome place to help get those in need to a better place. Security is very good and the staff are compassionate and understanding. Salvation Army offers temporary housing, food and shelter for those going through a life crisis as well as helping those in need of meals and social services.

Well, if you are in need of an item(s) for the baby or possibly something for the two of you collectively - I would advise you visiting the thrift store personally and ask to speak with Steve. He's a great person and I am sure he will point you in the proper direction. J.E.
You need to be more specific
You have to go speak to a case worker at the Salvation Army to inquire about getting a pass to live. I believe they're available Monday-Friday.
You can start at salvation army .
And
Genoveva, you just have to go to the place, whether you want to donate or if you want to go to the store to buy. You will like either of the two !! Greetings! 😀
Call Catholic charities or St Vincent De Paul society Also most churches will if you have proof you have a place to stay when you get to your destination
What types of clothes do you have? I need clothes for me and my daughter.
You need to call the local office, or sign-up through your local church! I believe they start taking names in September!
You would have to call the salvation army to see if they provide transportation for volunteer
Greetings Margaret, thank for willing to lend a helping hand to our Monroe County families. I personally do not know were to direct you - however I am sure if you contact out Miami 311 they'll be glad to guide you in the right direction.
There are 2 parts to your questions! The firsf Toy Drive is done between Salvation Army and Wal-Mart, that usually starts in early November, "Check your local Wal-Mart or Sam's Club to determine if and their Toy Drive Begins"! Part 2 is the WISH Tree (formerly cslled the Angel Tree) starts at the same time as the Red Kettle Project, "Locations of the Local WISH Tree vary..." Last year the WISH Tree started on or about November the 12th...
