In total, I spent 3 hours & 50min here. There are 2 lines outside - one for people with an appointment, the other for walk ins. I waited in the walk in line for 2.5 hrs. Because of covid, at least half of the inside seats are blocked from use. Once I got in, I waited about 1 hr to be seen. Then I was with the rep for 10-15 min (name change). I took one star off because I had to wait outside for a while (That's my biggest complaint). It's probably best to arrive when they open at 9am.

I keep calling everyday and leaving messages for the same representative that I'm assigned to. I am not getting my phone calls returned and they are not answering their phone. They give you a limited amount of time to submit information and I rather call and speak to the representative than sending a letter to them. It seems like the system is looking forward to you failing instead of helping people who are in need of their services. There are plenty of unemployed individuals that are looking for a job and eager to work. The government should be replacing all the ones that don't want to work with someone who does.

They don't give appointments for that but you can pre- fill the application online. The application is tailor made for all occurrences, eg. lost, worn, new etc. Also go early because you have to line up outside the door.
Do you accept walk ins? I'm trying to call but it's impossible to get in reach.

They're still closed. Go to the Social Security website and do the request online. I recently requested a copy of my Medicare Card and got it with no problem 😊.

Please bring your Social Security card, birth certificate or passport, also bring your proof of disability if you have one, and also you can contact the office and they will definitely let you know what you need as well or try going on their website
Would I get a call from the Social Security office, advising me by voicemail that they detected fraudulent activity with my SS # & advise me of next steps taken ?
In addition to, a new card will be sent to your home address within two weeks, there is a limit amount of replacement cards you can have in a year and for your life time.
