If you are able to stay clear of this hospital, please do so. A loved one was recently admitted & we did not have a good experience. Although some of the staff was good (hence the second star), most of the medical professionals seemed to not care (doctors, nurses)…terrible bedside manner & lack of effort to help. Having the patient feel like a “burden” is not the way to go. Broward Health needs to do a better job with training and staffing.

My wife is pregnant and we're expecting in the next few months. Because our OBGYN's practice is based in this hospital's offices, this is where we're expected to come for delivery. As our pregnancy is technically high-risk, we've had 2 incidents where we've been asked to come in as a proactive "better safe than sorry" measure and in both cases, we've spent probably close to 2hrs waiting to be brought into a room, and another 4hrs waiting for an ultrasound to be conducted. By the time we've had the ultrasound, the doctor is "gone for the day" and if we've got any more questions, we're kinda stuck waiting for the next day. When we ask for an estimate of how long things might take, they always tell us they're very busy and ask for our patience but, if we're asked to come in for a possible issue with our baby as a high risk pregnancy, 6hrs feels like a very long time to wait so while we're willing to give the benefit of doubt, I am starting to worry that come delivery day, we might not get the attention we need.

I found the treatment and service in the emergency room was great. Unfortunately I was moved to 3 north tower. Here things fell apart. The place is dirty, they forgot to give me a pillow or tell me how to call the nurse if I needed her. There is probably good reason for this as they do not want to give you the time of day. I have been here two days now and still have no idea about any of the tests I have don l do not know if the results are good or bad, or any idea how long I might be here. They keep telling me I will be gone i soon. It would be fine If I wasn't a single dad who has two children at home who are very worried as their mother passed away here 1 year ago.

It’s a okay hospital, dislocated my shoulder and walked in at 5am with a homeless man laying in the entrance doors while the nurses tried to get him to move. They fixed me up quickly and took good care of me and that’s what is important. Great service and I loved my doctor, didn’t love having to creep by a incoherent homeless man while in extreme pain.

Good afternoon Olive. I've been getting physicals all my life and haven't had a bad experience. Im sorry you were treated in this unkind manner. Im actually just a patient so i don't understand why i keep receiving these messages and I hope that in the future, you'll be treated in a more human manner, bedside manner at least because none of us need to be traeated like this, especially in our time of need. May God bless you 💝💝💝
Unions are sometimes necessary to protect workers from unfair practices. Insure safe work environment. BG isn't unionized.
6:30a.m.
I only speak English
Ok. I know they have something called a sliding fee, if u dont have insurance but my advice go to UHI community Clinic, at Lincoln square 18441 nw 2nd Avenue, suite 220. Dey are genuinely caring n take time to follow up with u. And dey dont ask u to pay b4 u speak to anyone. Broward n Jessie Trice. It's all about d money
Thank you for your answer to my question. I eating at the hospital before.each and every time I've eaten there the food's been very good very fresh and very reasonable.
Yes, and is a level 1 pedi trauma center
That I am not sure of. I was there once and chose another hospital to go to afterwards.
No no no they won't detox you! Did Explanation point
Speak with Health Information (HIM)/ Medical Records. They provide the sign up.
It would be easier to answer questions in the host country's language; Florida actually voted a state language and it's now officially part of the state's constitution. In money and medicine, it's best to have and use a common language in order that all things done are correct and accurate! I am curious why everyone who ever came to North America speaks English except Latinos? Why when anyone travels around the globe do travelers speak the host country's language except Latinos? Why is the entire language speaking English except Latinos? Why do South Americans come to North America and say we're taking over deal with it?? Why do South Americans keep saying we were here first and it's ours to have and yours to get over it! I'm really curious And disturbed by these comments and their frequency.
Health care workers have to take care of patients in critical care settings. They are not responsible for child care.
They change their arrival times every few months . You should grab an up to date schedule or call BCT information
Stop snorting cocaine !! There are plenty of Detox clinics in Broward County Florida..
In the emergency room
LoL 😊 I have no idea what you are asking , but thanks for the belly laughter
Yes, I believe so but most likely something that a primary doctor do.
Without calling I'd be inclined to say at least 8:00am -9:00pm.. They are very flexible from what I can remember while I was there.. Sorry I haven't been able to give you the exact visiting hours
Yes you just need to make an appointment with a Dr in the facility
There's two main elevators... Your best bet is to enter the main lobby to the west of the hospital on 4th ave. There you will be greeted by guest relations reps they . Give them the patients name and they can guide you.
You would need to get in contact with Human Resources
You need to call the hospital for that kind of thing.
Medical records is located on the 2nd floor on the towers..... Take the elevators by McDonald's the door is on the right once you exit the elevator
Yes they take community care medicaid yes we have a list of neurologist here. If you go on browardhealth.org
You need to call the hospital and ask for the billing office. I hope that helps.
Am not sure who you are talking about. Sorry I don't know any one with that name at Broward Hospital
Call receptionist and you will find out..
Hi David, you would have to call them for that kind of question.
Yes
Go to browardhealth.org careers
Yes..
At least an hour and a half no matter what the situation is and it's always packed so it might be and even longer wait time
Wrong place to be looking for somebody. Try calling the hospital
Sorry but this is not a hospital
I advise you to call the hospital. THIS is not the hospital.
CALL the hospital
Hi Nicole I believe you are asking the wrong person I'm not a nurse I was a patient there hope you can find someone that can help you
This isn't the hospital
Fort Lauderdale psych ward off of Las Olas
no
Yes you do
Please. CALL the hospital.
Yes
Its best to call the hospital d directly or go in
The ER uses a triage system. The wait time is based on how busy they are and how urgent your emergency is compared to the others already there. Once in the ER, after the patient is stabilized, he\she is either discharged or admitted. If admitted, they have to find a bed for the patient. This can result in additional waiting.
If you have birth there someone will come in and ask for the name and everything and you get it from the broward county department of health. Someone at the hospital messed up my name so I had to get mine through the state instead of the county
Turn on WiFi then go to the browser or sometimes an automatic page pops up. Scroll down hit agree.
I had the same problem, the nurse looked at me like she never heard of a password. then they charged me .10 a sheet to get my own records and made me come back twice. literally the worst hospital ive ever seen in my life. by far.
Join Broward health w72 and w80 plan or moped
Because it doesn't work that way in an emergency room. Patients presenting with the most severe symptoms will be taken in first.
The Broward County Health and Records Department would have the information. This is the page that goes through the options to request the certificate and overview of the process. http://broward.floridahealth.gov/certificates/birth/index.html Good luck.
