If you call Miami Gardens Police department you better not being an emergency. I called the police having to do with someone fishing and dumping everyday for the past 5 years. Every time I call Miami Gardens Police after half an hour later suspect is gone, because who sits around for a whole hour doing something wrong.

Just called to give very specific details about potentially dozens of stolen credit cards and they could basically care less lol. Sheer laziness

Was profiled, intimidated, and yelled at while looking for directions on my bike over a year ago while waiting on the street during my vacation at night. I couldnβt explain why I was stopped because I was looking at directions without being told I was wrong and yelled at. Very unorganized and immature department, thank god I donβt live there. I love law enforcement and have the upmost respect for them but this department reminded me why sadly the force has a tainted name.

The agency has grown since its inception and it is an honor when you hear the locals who've lived in the area for so long speak on the positive changes seen and the level of professionalism displayed by the officers. Great job MGPD ππΎππΎππΎ

No and he never was Just dirty corrupt uneducated poor excuses for law enforcement
Depends on what you're trying to do. Employment wise yes background checks are done. Hope that helps.
If you looking for niceness Publix will be a better experience. Miami Dade County will never take over. They want nothing to do with that district. Look at OpaLocka, their department is so dismantled and desperately need help
The governor's office says call an attorney. The police robbed me and caused hospital bills and signficant financial damage for me and my family. They thought it was funny. It's really funny how I won't be settling and how much money I am suing for. Nothing to sneeze at. Some might refer to it as the "ghetto lottery."
Forget working for them. Start your own security company. Get contracts by contacting large office buildings in nice busy business districts and low balling the competition go at least 10% lower than the average. Get as many contracts as you can. From there, hire 1099 employees and tell them 2 weeks down and make your money. Save 20% of your gross income for insurance deductibles and premiums and from there grow, grow and grow. Go public once you hit 2 or 3 million dollars. Sell out. Become security consultant.
