Attended the USAF Heartland of America Band concert on 28 June... was a hot day with sun beating. Performers "cooked" in the sun as the audience fared better. Excellent program.

We saw the PAC Band, (Papillion Area Concert Band)..... organized in 1986 by Mr. Ken Moizer ..... This concert was the finale of 'Papillion Days'. The band started 'Papillion Days' off with a concert, they were in the parade, and they ended up on Father's Day with this finale. They are terrific, worth the trip and the time. There are no auditions for membership. It is open to any musician beyond high school who enjoys playing music. There are a wide assortment of occupations.... they range from registered nurses, attorneys, social workers, retired teachers, retired musicians, claims adjusters, students, engineers, and homemakers. (That is just to name a few. They are diverse and talented). The Sumtur Amphitheater is very comfortable. The seats are comfortable, the view is good, great acoustics, no obstructions, and the weather was perfect, (if not a little hot... ) The parking is free and easy... Before the PAC Band performed there were young dancers...putting on performances for us... They were terrific. They are young and talented, they are very entertaining. They dance to everything, they did break dancing, they did tap dancing, they did dancing the I can't identify... But they are good and it was a nice treat... The concert was well attended. They survive on mostly donations..... and that is very low-key, they leave a container by the door for the donations. It is not awkward at all. The basic principle of the band is promote and encourage knowledge and appreciation and practice of the art of instrumental music.. The next concert will be Sunday, August 14th, 8:00 p.m. at the Sumtur Amphitheater. I recommend for a pleasant evening of music you attend. It is an hour of time well spent. They ranged in songs from the "Star Spangled Banner", to "Montego Bay Samba", to a salute to Count Basie.... All in all I'll say our group had a very entertaining time.....

Went there for an event over this past weekend. It was easy to find, and everything from the concession staff to the design of the amphitheater was great. Stayed up in the grass area with a chair, nice wide open and very comfortable.

Awesome does not describe this place. Amazing sound. Seats to sit in if you don't bring your own blanket and chair to sit up on the beautifully landscaped grab sale. Clean bathrooms, which is unheard of at any outdoor venue these days. Nice Snack Shack, which serves alcohol.

If the band asks for people to come dance, yes!
Outside food and beverages are NOT allowed into the facility with the exception of 1 sealed bottle of water for each patron. Other items that can't be brought into the facility include weapons, coolers, noise makers, drugs, etc. A
It depends on who is putting on an event. It may be at the door, at a sponsoring organization, or at a designated website of the sponsor.
The times that SumTur is open depends upon the SPECIFIC event they have scheduled. Many, if not most, of the concerts are free. SumTur operates on a shoestring budget. So they open only about 1 hr before the event and close about an hour afterwards (as the staff conducts immediate cleanup). There is a vending area at the entrance where they sell food and drinks... restrooms are located there too.
Normally not, but this season/pandemic is different. You are allowed to bring in outside food and drink in 2021.
I believe they'll allow it because you can bring blankets in.
Empty bottles
Yes
There are seats at the amphitheater. Yet, you and other general admission ticket holders may bring lawn chairs, or blankets. For Hairspray the seats are for reserved or VIP ticket holders.
No. Drinks and food are sold inside.
I don't know. Call them and check.
