Learned so much about the Cuban diaspora and the Peter (Pedro) Pan flights. Also, the documentary about the Cuban Freedom fighters involved in the "Bay of Pigs" known as Battalion 2506, was amazingly informative. Cuban Americans can be proud of the dignity these heros comported themselves. Great exhibit a must for all Freedom loving people!

I loved the experience. Learned so much about my Cuban history. Learned a lot about the Pedro Pan Operation

My family members were not Pedro Pan (Father was a Balsero) but it was nice to see history and stories of those who lived to tell the tale of what happened those few years. The items are donated from Pedro Pan children so it allows you to get a sense of just how young they all were when they were forced to grow up.

An excellent concise museum, beautifully designed. This is our second exhibit, with the Celia Cruz being the first and will return again...have recommended the museum to various friends.

As far as I know, this exhibition of Cuban migrant children in the years 1961 and 1962, which began between Cuba and Miami and bears the name of Operación Pedro Pan, has had 3 exhibitions in the Miami area, the FREEDON TOWER History of Miami and the American Museum of the Cuban Diaspora , are currently preparing a future exhibition at Barry University. The name of this operation is PEDRO PAN and not Peter Pan.
In the museum itself
We made reservations, we wanted a guide to explain our story to our grandchildren. We are also Pedro Pan and they knew some of our stories. It was a great experience for all. Don't miss it!

The Museum is closed in observance of Easter. We will reopen on Tuesday April 23, 2019. Hopefully you can join us then. We will check the website and other portals to ensure the holiday schedule is reflected correctly in all of them. We apologize If it was not reflected in the portal where you found us. Thank you.
Hello Mr. José, unfortunately, books are not accepted. The Museum is dedicated to exhibitions of artists of the Cuban Diaspora. You are more than invited to go to our exhibition of Celia Cruz, which is very interesting. The hours are from Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Sunday from 12:00 M to 4:30 PM
Pass by there. There is a very beautiful and interesting exhibition about the life of Celia Cruz. Sundays open until 7pm
The museum is scheduled to be open 6 days a week after its grand opening in late October.
They are temporarily closed to bring in new art.
Google says they're open Saturday and Sunday only
