Just moved to the area. Decided to try out one of the local restaurants for birthday. Very disappointed sadly. First, we seated ourselves then a girl came with our menus, silverware and a name card she layed on the table (little confusing) she asked for our drink order so I assumed she was my server, nope. 10 mins later another girl came with our beers which was warm smh never introduced her self took our order then disappeared. Appetizer started out ok except the sauce was cold and sadly tasted straight out of can. Our entrees showed by a different server, delievered and left. My alferdo was cold and bland. The server never came back to check on us until we was done which I was finished very quickly sadly. Got a box advised her the beer wasn't cold need to check the cooler. Asked for the bill told to go up front to pay and that was that. I have been restaurants for over 20 years it's sad that place has a great menu but poor management and poor quality of how food goes out. Monroes has great potential if it was ran properly. Oh and the servers need trained by real professional servers with experience

MONROE is a restaurant of old fashiion looks with not modern facilities updated but it satisfies with PPL WITH their menus of more luncheon style to bar side food items ss my party said not satisfied with their wait as not busy with ppl ..as my order chicken alfredo came without chicken??? An 30 to 45 wait FOR first order the chicken alfredo without chicken came another 20 minutes wait ..so not to offers to reheat or bring out a completely fresh new replace with hot noodles or side broccoli warmer.. Sadly my food waa eaten cold noodles as side items and new redone plate of grease chicken over cooked as juice from greasy top stop as the sauce was overly parmesan cheese too much .. As my party member complained food cold and bland tasted with fish and chip meal ? As said before same grease use for both items blanded taste.. it as washed down with beer item as how cheeses burger not taste is same greasy cook her burgers as french fries blandes greay taste was asked for ranch dressing for some flavors to be added .. As customer service ppl frienly very long long waits for food items to waiters too budy chattinv each other or cook time or service slower then proper waits to As children needs with parents care with an baby to toddler nothing offer as high chairs as even a family changing table areas as health codes it seem this place is old fashion decor needs some more family needs as handicap entrances if any handicap issues i do not recommend lots of old rail tiles stairs as crackly entrance of old wooden tiles with lots of bees nesting in them as i visit was a pray not get stung in as out of tis building as hope not have bees inside highly allergic to them as outside over flowing flowers welcome these bees..I wil not be returning till wintertime its call spray or return outside or as for others safety when doing business for the public services ..now nature is of it own venture of sources their are safety issues here for handicap ppl ..as ppl with allergic to flowers or bees overwhelming as old rail tiles harbor bees nesting as old crackly stairs as rails loosely moves as not much support to hold onti as old. Wood as splitting As rating this is what you might say old fashion needs some upkeep as update for public service as safety .as a real busy full day or night hmm hope your not wait for ever good luck to go check out as mine as my guest were not satisfied with their food item as fresh not seem fresh or overwhelming too much not as pleaed as hope..If not its not much in this unique older township location... guess what's keeping them open only ?? Go check out as other feelings are different..use yiur own judgement ..as say will try again in winter time hope not snowy cause of rail tile stairs lol

Nice place for lunch after visiting the zoo. The seafood options were good 👍🏼 my fav was the cod. The steak sandwich was also good. Leave space for desert, I liked the carrot cake the most
