Save yourself the headache and just use a different mail carrier. Novel with only one of my terrible experiences. Uncaring, lazy, and downright rude when it comes to delivering to businesses that open later than most. How expensive the package is, requiring signatures, and "deliver after 12PM" notices don't make a difference either. Our mail driver won't deliver our packages as requested because of the business hours, and this includes signed re-deliveries that say "deliver inside at 12PM". Previously our mail driver came inside (when we were open, so I know she can do it) and yelled at our employees because "the business opening at 12PM is inconvenient". When I called the post office to try to figure out where my package is, they just pick up the phone and hang it back up. The 4th time I called, someone picked up and pretended they called me but "had the wrong number", and then proceeded to hang up on me again, so I'm going to have to show my happy face in person to actually get my package since our driver wants to act petty and won't [re]deliver at the requested time/when the business is open. Ignorant and rude overall - no customer service skills whatsoever.

So I went to the LaVista location for Christmas stamps. What a joke this was. First of all I had read that the reasons for the move was to reduce waiting in line. I started out about 15+ deep and there were 3 people to wait on us. I went and ask the gale if the self service had Christmas stamps and she said yes it should so I Inputted the relevant information and guess what I got flags. Had to go to the back of the line which was 2 more people deep. I was hoping to exchange them for Christmas stamps. By this time they were down to 2 people helping us. When I was 4 people deep they went from 2 people helping to 1. Spent over an hour in line to be told "no" we can not do that even after the girl told me they were Christmas stamps. I still needed the Christmas stamps so I went ahead and bought them. The only highlight to this is on my way out an extremely nice lady said she would buy my stamps from me. That was so very kind of her. I appreciated it so very much. I hope she sees this review. As far the the visit to the LaVista Post Office new branch if I could give it a 0 I most certainly would.

The clerks at the Papillion Post Office are efficient, friendly, and helpful. I mail packages frequently, and never have a bad experience. Occasionally, there are several people waiting, but the line moves quickly. Our carrier is also great! He will deliver packages to the door, rather than leave them balanced between boxes, as in the past. We have not had mail delivery issues the past couple of years.

Very disgusted and disappointed today! According to tracking our son’s class ring was delivered but not found in our mailbox. Instead, found a note with a different last name that the mailbox was full and contents would be available for pick up for 10 days. The mailbox is never “full”. The note was also a few weeks old and never in the mailbox prior, again, with the wrong last name. Contacted USPS and was told it was disposed of along with other mailbox contents. They were told to flag the item as theft by deception and a formal police report was being filed. Within two hours we were contacted that the ring “had been found” and was going to be donated since it was “high valued”. We are being promised the ring will be delivered Monday. A formal police report will still be filed as well as a formal complaint to the Postmaster. This seems like a nice cover up! Make sure to set up daily notifications for your mail to keep a close eye on your holiday gifts that you have delivered to your homes.
