Mover and Shakers is just awesome. Danny is a great instructor. Every class is blast and full of things to learn. There's also a really great community here. Danny takes everyone out social dancing and other students even organize smaller outings between the school organized events. There's a lot to learn, awesome people to meet, and really cool events. I mean they're even planning to go to a 4 day, Salsa International in Las Vegas. How cool is that? If you want to take Salsa classes, highly recommend movers and shakers.

My partner and I have just completed our fourth private salsa class with Danny and we couldn't be happier. We'd been searching for a good salsa instructor for months without any luck. We tried out several different schools but always left unsatisfied - either because they were too "anonymous" or because they simply weren't salsa experts. Finally, we came across Movers and Shakers Dance Academy. Danny is a patient and extremely knowledgeable instructor with a meticulous approach to teaching salsa. We love his attention to detail and the personalized touch he provides to each class. For anyone looking to bring their salsa to the next level, we cannot recommend Danny enough!

Danny is an excellent instructor. He offered personalized, private salsa lessons. Not only is he a world class dancer, but he made our special couples’ event for Valentine’s Day really special. We left his studio (which is beautiful by the way) with enough knowledge to go out dancing—and it was our first lesson. We are convinced Danny provides the best private lessons for first-time dancers and experienced dancers alike. Seriously one of the best, if not the best, couples activities to do on the west side (Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, etc.). He even helped us record a video with step-by-step instructions to help us practice on our own. My girlfriend and I will be making these private lessons a recurring activity. So much fun, and SO helpful. THANK YOU DANNY!

I love my classes here. I've taken dance classes at other places before, but the level of knowledge, passion, and care that Danny and Alexis bring to the table is unparalleled. So far, I've taken Salsa Level One and Bachata Level One and they've been great. Both Danny and Alexis as well as their supporting teachers are so kind, patient, and always willing to help you out. It's no surprise that all the people you'll meet here are equally friendly and absolutely supportive of your dance journey. Danny and Alexis also regularly encourage students to go to public dances and socials - another fantastic way to get more confident on the floor. This was my best decision in 2021 - thank you so much Danny, Alexis, Tracey and all!
