I've never written a review about a Park visitor's center. But this one was really solid. Multiple little 'booths' to get hike suggestions from staff. A lot of learning material about the park and the local nature inside. And one of the best book selections at a state parks visit center.

Driving through Avenue of the Giants the park headquarters are a nice stop. Interesting museum. Good gift shop. Usable bathrooms. Picnic tables. Across the road is a nice walk through some impressive tree stands. This is a safe place to let the kids run around.

It is a State Park and as of today 8/2 it was fully open
Not many, I'm afraid. Besides the visitor center (and then again not specifically), i cant remember any coach parking along the way.
