One of my favorite places in the world! I spent many days as a kid here and visit often.

Relaxed atmosphere. Cool waters. Great scenery. Some wildlife. Deer, bears, smaller animals. Good fishing in season.

Bees at the beginning of the suspension bridge, be super careful and dont jump on it, little access to the stream. Dispite those things, it was beautiful, but I wouldnt call it a swimming hole.

I primarily visit this site at the end of October or early November for the trout fishing. This stretch of the Bull Pasture River is stocked regularly throughout the fishing season. Va fishing license and trout stamp required. Also a nice place for scenic and wildlife photography.

Questions & Answers

Has any one been inside the aqua cave across the street from the parking lot entrance? Someone has posted pictures here of a kid in a blue shirt who looks like hes about to go in. Any information about this cave would be nice, thanks.
