This is a beautiful park. Lots of trees, there’s an Aviary, a beautiful gazebo, and play structure for the kids.

Pioneer Park was gorgeous when I visited family in Walla Walla in early March this year. It was a good 70 degrees outside and not a cloud in the sky! The path ways, the trees, the birds, etc. Were just amazing! I wish I had a park near my home like this I'd be going every day!

As parks go, this one is a gem. The trees in this park are absolutely amazing. Cyprus, Oak, Maple, pine. Some of the most impressive specimens I have ever seen. Add to that, pickle ball courts, aviary, walking trails and meticulously maintained grounds. Not many better parks anywhere.

Absolutely stunning park. TONS on big trees for shade, two playgrounds close together, a duck pond you can walk around, picnic pavilions and stand alone tables, and an AVIARY! This is definitely a park that we will visit more than once.

The formal opening of the park, as we know it, was September 6, 1908. https://ww2020.net/pioneer-park/
